Photo Brag time

  Ok...

another project I'm working on is handmaking 5 cards for Z's main specialists and the Dr.'s and Nurses at the hospital he stayed so much last year/ early this year. In the process I've just been so blessed to see how much he's grown....

So here is a digital version of his card.. but for the 'before' photo I had to use a different pic because the one I had was not digital and would not scan in, so here is a replacement that shows you just how little he was... J is next to him for comparison.. then look at the 2 of them now.. Z's SO much bigger! and J really hasnt grown significantly since then.. the Dr are not concerned, as he is staying on a curve of his own, but hes still pretty tiny...

Heres the front:

Thank you ( insert Dr's name) We love you!

Then Zubah 'drew' his name at the bottom

In the above photo he is signing 'ilove you' the best he can.. isnt it the sweetest thing ever???????

And please find below a 'few photos' for your viewing pleasure or more for my braging pleasure..

I know how blessed I am. Its overwhelming.. in a very good, yet weighty ( what a responsibility) way.

As promised 7 months ago.. here are the bikes my dad designed, built, and personalized in under a week.... aren't they perfect? my little guys' legs are too short for ANY ride on toy on the market. You can see their names engraved on the side..

now, please dont get the idea I only take photos of the babies.. we don't. And I dont favor them.. but they are the cutest ones here  I mean.. they are the most fun to photograph.. and the ones we are braging on... but each of our children are incredible. I will have to post photos of each of them when I get around to it. Im impressed with myself to have gotton this done today.. but they were on my puter already. and the Dr card inspired me hehe.

Have a blessed Sabbath!

Love

long time

Super busy here! I dont like to too much, I long for a simple life, with no remodeling, no moving, no finances, no threats over our head.. but as I think back on how each of these things began, I know they were His will, so it must be His will we are here right now. So we will be able to make it through.

My dad is coming to visit in 3 weeks. I am really looking forward to it, and also trying to get a bunch done here at home to impress him ( love you!)
Also tomarrow is the begining of Hannakah we can't wait... we love the picture of it, and the food too Each of Yah's Holy days I seem to gain weight... but not too much, I stay steady mostly... although can't seem to lose any either lol oh well.

Thank you all for your prayers, He has given me such a deep and lasting peace about our trial ( still ongoing at this point) after the quote posted last, I have had 99% less anxiety... How how I love Him. And I trust Him.

a couple weeks later I had a dream that brought me great comfort as well, although I have never been a 'God spoke to me in a dream" kind of person EVER.. I shy away from it But this was awesome and obvious...

Off to make lunch. E has an apointment for his umbilical hernia tomarrow.. finally I had this same appointment 16 months ago, then that very day Bethany died, and I had to cancel and fly to GA instead.  So we should have fun, it will be just the 2 of us. Its not the acutal surgery, but only the consultation, so hes happy about it all, although hes happy anyway because he wants it fixed.. doesnt like it. He turns 5 in a couple weeks and he is super excited about that.. and is saving his birthday for when his grandpa Bob comes.. 2 days later.

In the shelter of His mighty hand,

Kellie

In the process  of my study time tonight, of course Yahweh ordained I read this particular chapter in John Piper's book, mentioned earlier, "The Hidden Smile of God" I sat in awe as I read it, John Bunyan from what, 400 years ago? penned these words, which Yah knew in His great and awesome providence, I'd be reading tonight to take my burden from off my back and let it roll back under the cross where it belongs... Its awesome to read, and although most of the 6 of you that read this blog may not know what we are going through, trust me, this spoke directly to the heart of my struggle mentioned earlier... please enjoy and let Him speak to your heart, as I know must of us suffer in this world...

Kellie

BTW I copied and pasted this from the following website, if you cared to read the whole thing, It appears to be from the book by John Piper, because this is word for word what I read in my book tonight, but I really don't know because I have not read the whole website...but I believe it actually is the John Bunyan chapter from the book. http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/Biographies/1480_To_Live_Upon_God_that_Is_Invisible/

(emphasis mine)

...................

What is Bunyan's aim in this exposition of the sovereignty of God in suffering? "I have, in a few words, handled this . . . to show you that our sufferings are ordered and disposed by him, that you might always, when you come into trouble for this name, not stagger nor be at loss, but be stayed, composed, and settled in your minds, and say, 'The will of the Lord be done.' Act 21:14."

He warns against feelings of revenge. "Learn to pity and bewail the condition of the enemy . . . Never grudge them their present advantages. 'Fret not thy self because of evil men. Neither be thou envious at the workers of iniquity.' Prov. 24:19. Fret not, though they spoil thy resting place. It is God that hath bidden them do it, to try thy faith and patience thereby. Wish them no ill with what they get of thine; it is their wages for their work, and it will appear to them ere long that they have earned it dearly. . . . Bless God that thy lot did fall on the other side. . . . How kindly, therefore, doth God deal with us, when he chooses to afflict us but for a little, that with everlasting kindness he may have mercy upon us. Is.54:7-8."

.....................

So Bunyan begs his people to humble themselves under the mighty hand of God and trust that all will be for their good. "Let me beg of thee, that thou wilt not be offended either with God, or men, if the cross is laid heavy upon thee. Not with God, for he doth nothing without a cause, nor with men, for . . . they are the servants of God to thee for good. (Psalm 17:14 KJV; Jer. 24:5). Take therefore what comes to thee from God by them, thankfully."

One of my dearest friends sent me a CD today, with a song that she and her Husband to be will be singing at their wedding. Not only is it beautiful, but I really really needed it right now. We are going through so much I feel as if I am hanging on by a thread emotionally some moments in the day. For this I am grateful, because it shows me palpably how much I need HIM... but its also scarey too... because Im human. So I went looking online for the title of the song, and low and behold it is largely, with only a few words changes, comprised of the words of a poem by William Cowper.. a man whom I've been reading about it John Piper's book, "The Hidden Smile of God." Which the title,  I suspect was taken from this exact poem.

It has blessed me in so many ways tonight as I've listened to it nonstop. I have been struggling more the last 3 days than all the preceding 4 weeks we've been going through this... and here is this song. Thank you Yahweh.. Thank you Sarah. I love you.

Kellie

God Moves In A Mysterious Way

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea,
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never-failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs,
And works His sovereign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take,
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy, and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan his work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

William Cowper

The chorus they added to it goes,

So God we trust in You

So God we trust in You

( bridge) When tears are great and comforts few, we hope in mercies ever new, we trust in You)

We trust in You.
